Why do we need to decolonise geography? Members of the DECOLONISING GEOGRAPHY group will discuss this question and share our activities.
We’ve been:
– challenging the language, concepts and contexts of white geography
– developing the #VoicesProject to centre marginalised voices through participatory oral histories and
– working with an examination board to decolonise GCSE assessments
