Join Sheffield Anti-Racist Education on June 29th 2023, from 4pm to 4:30pm for an in-conversation event with Emmanuel Ogundimu, Co-Director of Durham Biostatistics Unit, Associate Professor, Statistics.
Emmanuel will be sharing his experience in decolonising maths in higher education specifically speaking on the lack of inclusion in STEAM, issues in higher education in maths and ways forward for improving.
This is an online event, and there will be time for a Q&A.
About Emmanuel Ogundimu
Emmanuel is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Durham University. His current research focus is on Machine learning for clinical research and missing data/rare event methodology and is currently lead as Senior Statistician on 11 high profile clinical/interventional studies.
